emeritbadges.org …
helping to advance global prosperity by promoting careers in
electrical, electronics and computer engineering
|
| | The Electronics Merit Badge first appeared in 1963. Over 130,000 scouts
earned the Electronics Merit Badge between 1963 and 2001.
Completing the requirements for the Electronics Merit Badges is a great
way for boys and girls to study the basics of electronics, safety
precautions, and study related careers. Building a circuit to demonstrate
lessons learned is one of the requirements. The IEEE emeritbadges.org team
has developed instructional material to be used in conjunction with the
Boy Scouts of America Electronics Merit Badge pamphlet.
